Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update – 30/03/2020
As a nation we are currently experiencing extremely uncertain times and the team at KO Machines Ltd want to be able to support our customers as much as possible and for as long as possible, while at the same time staying safe and continuing to deliver the gold standard customer care that we strive to provide.
Following on from the Prime Minister’s statement yesterday evening coupled with the latest U.K. Government advice, can we please take this opportunity to remind our customers of the official guidance regarding ‘Social Distancing’ when coming into contact with others.
In order to help keep us all, customers and staff, as safe as possible could we please ask:
▪️ That you telephone your local depot in advance with your part requirements. We will then put your order ready for collection. To minimise the number of people in the depot at any one time, if you are able to provide an estimated time of pick up this would be greatly appreciated.
▪️ When collecting your parts please come alone if you are able to. This is in line with the Government ‘Two Person Policy’ which comes into effect on Thursday (26.03.2020) and please do not spend any longer in the depot than is absolutely necessary.
▪️ If you fall into one of the U.K. Government’s ‘Vulnerable Persons’ categories, please consider sending someone outside of these groups to collect your parts if its possible to do so (For further details on these groups please visit the Government’s website)
▪️ Keep to the two (2) metres rule when coming into direct contact with KO staff and others and if you are displaying any of the COVID – 19 symptoms please DO NOT visit our branches. We will always endeavour to support our customers and if a member of our staff visits your premises please let us know in advance if you have or suspect COVID – 19. Our staff are all following the guidelines regarding hand hygiene & PPE and we trust our customers to do the same.
▪️ We will continue to provide workshop services in line with the above operational guidelines.
▪️ We will continue to provide sales support by telephone consultation.
▪️ If you have a more general query please telephone or email rather than visiting our branches in person (contact details are at the bottom of this post).
Should you have any queries regarding our update please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will continue to update our policy in line with Government advice.
These are exceptional & difficult circumstances that we are currently experiencing and we’d like to thank you all for your continuing support in helping us to help you.
Let’s work together to keep us all safe and well until Farming U.K. and the nation as a whole is back up and running as normal 🇬🇧
